At physease, physiotherapy focuses on women’s health and the spine. Our expert physiotherapist, Anosha, treats women throughout different life stages, from menstrual cycle concerns (PCOS, endometriosis), to pregnancy-related conditions (joint, muscle, pelvic floor concerns), postpartum care and menopause. Spinal conditions such as neck and back pain as well as other joint/muscle conditions are also managed by our physiotherapist.

Anosha Ansari

Anosha, the owner of physease, graduated from La Trobe University with a Master of Physiotherapy Practice after completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree at La Trobe University. She created physease in her final year of Physiotherapy degree for a University project, which was a hub for educational content in the form of videos and articles online. Since then physease has not only developed into providing its services to the Craigieburn community, but also the wider northern suburbs of Melbourne in the form of community workshops, home-visits, and through its social media presence. Anosha has gained extensive experience in assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions in numerous private practice clinics across Melbourne.

Anosha’s main specialisation however, is in Women’s Health. She is a certified Women’s Pelvic Health Level 1 and 2 physiotherapist through the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA). This means she has knowledge and experience in managing gynaecological conditions throughout different stages of a woman's life, from puberty to child-bearing age and to post-menopause.  This included but not limited to:

  • Pelvic floor dysfunction (weakness, tightness)

  • Pregnancy and Postpartum health (pelvic floor, abdomen separation, pelvic girdle pain, breast concerns)

  • Bladder concerns (urgency, leakage)

  • Bowel concerns (constipation, defecation, leakage, urgency)

  • Pelvic pain (painful intercourse, menstrual concerns - endometriosis, PCOS)

  • Pelvic organ prolapse (bulging, heaviness)

  • Menopause (vaginal dryness)
