About Us

Physease - women's pelvic health and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Move with ease - evidence-based care to build strength, confidence and everyday movement.

Our Story

Physease began as an educational platform in 2019 and has grown into a busy and trusted clinic serving Melbourne's northern suburbs.

We have special interest in women's pelvic health and spinal conditions, but of course treat all other conditions of the body in women, men and children.

Whether you are suffering from crippling back pain triggered by moving your couch, recent knee pain from your gym workout, or are an expecting/new parent ignoring your symptoms, we're here to help you move with less pain.

We combine clear diagnoses, hands-on treatment and individualised exercise so patients get fast, practical improvements and long-term tools to stay well. We're local, approachable, and focused on honest, evidence-based care that dismantles myths and puts you back in control of your body.

Munira Ahmed

Physiotherapist

Munira is a dedicated physiotherapist who graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). During her honours year, she explored NDIS budget sizes in young Australians across Victoria, contributing to a growing understanding of accessibility and support within the disability sector.

Since joining Physease, Munira has worked with a diverse range of clients, treating musculoskeletal, neurological and women’s health related conditions. She is passionate about delivering evidence-based, person-centred care and takes pride in empowering her clients to achieve their goals and return to activities they love.

Beyond clinical work, Munira has played an active role in the Physease community, helping to develop educational resources and workshops aimed at promoting health awareness and preventative care in the local community. She enjoys working collaboratively with clients and colleagues to ensure every treatment plan is holistic, practical, and tailored to the individual.

Munira’s Clinical Interests:

  • Spinal conditions (low back pain, neck pain, sciatica, nerve pain)

  • Women’s health related conditions (ab muscle separation, pregnancy related pain, pre- and post-natal exercise)

Munira’s Hobbies:

Outside the clinic, Munira enjoys reading, sipping on matcha lattes and café hopping to discover new food spots with friends and family. She also keeps active through basketball and Pilates, and believes that maintaining an active lifestyle is key to both physical and mental wellbeing.

A session with Munira will include a treatment approach that combines hands-on therapy, exercise prescription and education, with a strong emphasis on helping people understand their condition and play an active role in their recovery.

Munira is available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
